How do I convince a teacher to allow me to use a PDA in school?

My school allows us to use PDAs to keep track of homework, events, etc. But the catch is we have to convince our homeroom teacher that we can use it responsibly (no taking pictures, taking recordings of teachers for jokes, etc.) What should I include in my argument? (1-2 paragraphs required)
